JICA UJ-Connect Project Opinion Exchange Meeting

Our Osaka office recently hosted an opinion exchange meeting as part of the JICA UJ-Connect project, a collaborative initiative in which our company is actively involved.

The UJ Connect project (officially the ICT Industry Promotion Project) is an effort by JICA and Uganda’s Ministry of ICT and National Guidance (MoICT) to support Uganda’s growing ICT sector. As part of this endeavor, we are working closely with Sumic IT Solutions, a leading Ugandan IT company, to further the project’s goals.

This recent meeting brought together participants from Sumic IT Solutions, MoICT, and other UJ-Connect stakeholders. Their visit to our Osaka office provided a valuable forum for discussing ways to strengthen collaboration between Japanese and Ugandan IT companies, as well as addressing some of the challenges we face in advancing this partnership.
