2024 D&I Report
This report highlights eftax’s key diversity and inclusion initiatives undertaken during the 2024 fiscal year (September 2023 to August 2024) as part of our ongoing commitment to building a workplace where all individuals feel valued and empowered to contribute.
Internship Program
JICA Cooperation Internship Program
This year, eftax welcomed 12 JICA international student interns, who made significant contributions to our internal marketing projects. We also participated in the JICA Networking Fair in Autumn 2024, providing a platform to connect with new talent. We hope that these young individuals, through gaining practical experience with us, not only acquire valuable skills and knowledge but also develop strong international leadership qualities.
Our workforce at eftax has always been diverse, embracing all genders, nationalities, and cultural backgrounds. This internship program has brought fresh perspectives and innovative ideas, and we are committed to continue fostering an inclusive corporate culture that values diverse talent.
Business
HaloDish
HaloDish, our comprehensive service supporting a Muslim-friendly society, has expanded this year to include mobile applications for both iOS and Android, in addition to the web application launched last year. Enhanced usability and new features enable us to meet a wider range of needs. We also launched the HaloDish Shop, an online store featuring halal foods and other products that enrich the lives of Muslim community members in Japan.
At eftax, we believe that providing services that enable people of all nationalities and religions to live comfortably is a core pillar of our corporate social responsibility. We are dedicated to continuing to enhance our services.

SUGEE Housing
SUGEE Housing is a real estate service offering comprehensive support to international residents in Japan, including property introductions, lease contracting, and guidance on living etiquette. While Japan continues to attract residents from around the world, language and cultural differences can present challenges in finding housing. With multilingual support, including English, SUGEE Housing facilitates a smooth housing search experience.
By combining our expertise in real estate with our experience working with international team members, eftax is focused on providing a comfortable living environment for all individuals seeking a home in Japan.
